5 ways to be intentional right now
I want you to be able to create intentional evenings on your own terms.

Yes, you will dream again
You may be experiencing some major setbacks, anxiety, or restlessness. You know that feeling like you can ever dream again seems far away. Getting up and doing life is all you can focus on while you move through the challenges you’re facing. It’s easy for your mind to race with all the "what-ifs" and sometimes let the sadness and anxiety take over. Dreaming again feels impossible.

Ready to move from problems to possibilities?
Getting to a change in practice is hard work…and sometimes, we dive into problem-solving, advice-giving, or even admiring the situation a little too quickly and for a little too long;-)

Failing Happy: Reflections from Ashridge
In December 2013, I had the great privilege of attending an immersive experience facilitated by Steve Chapman on Creative Practices in leadership. Being that December 2015 has come and gone, and I have spent the last few days reflecting as we have rolled into January 2016, I realized that this was a story worth sharing because it is about "Failing Happy," especially as I look forward to some of the new things I may try this year!

Grace And Truth In Leadership
This is moving beyond perception and into reality; the pursuit of truth, listening to the people who you are interacting with on a daily basis. This leader is willing to graciously accept others in the moment, but be ready for anything, especially in tune when it is time for change. It will then be critical for that leader to be fearless in leading through that change.

Designing a Thriving Family: The Family Core
Just like any group, community, company, or church, the family has an incredible energy that is ready to be unleashed for excellence. Often, though, we are dragged into negativity and our own defeating thoughts, most likely reinforced by severe losses and tough experiences, or even the difficulty of simply keeping up with daily demands.

The Modern Office
The Modern Office is not just about the people. It is also how the people work in the spaces they are provided. We already know the impact of the quality of a space and working conditions contributes to the overall well-being and safety of the workers. It is also about embracing how work culture is shifting in many professional environments.

And my artists . . . children love to create.
When I am finally relaxed (thank God it's Friday and the week is over!!!), this doesn't feel like a big mess. I embrace their need to create, and somehow it's OK. Now ask me that on Tuesday or Wednesday, and it may be a different story! Happy today to embrace their creativity.

Beautiful Architectural Dome
A revitalized building, a beautiful dome. It never ceases to amaze me. Architecture tells a powerful story of human potential.

Design in the Every Day: Reflections
Every good design starts with inspiration. All of these designs are inspired by reflections. I decided to find as many objects as I could in one day that were designed based on this single concept. Innovation often starts with a small concept and grows into something greater.
